This pump is not compatible with Drinkwell Original, Platinum, Big Dog, Outdoor Dog, and Everflow fountains.

Replaced 1st pump in first 2 months, 2nd pump replace in less than one year, great fountain just cheap pumps...!!!

We can understand how it would be frustrating when your pumps are not lasting very long! Please ensure that the pump is being taken completely apart every 1-2 weeks as shown in the manual. The process is shown in detail in the video at the below web address:

I spent $80 on the ceramic fountain and here 3 weeks later I am having to purchase a new pump! Love the bowl...Can't believe the pumps are this cheap!

Origional failed in less than a year. I did the vinegar cleaning and dish detegent cleaning several times but the pump is still very noisy and needs a tap to start. I suspect that the bearing surfaceds on the rotor are worn.
